Back4Good

Pilates gave me back control of my body by improving my posture, strengthening my core and helping me to enjoy movement again.

My Journey

My Pilates Journey started 16 years ago as a way of managing my low back pain. Recurring bouts of low back pain left me with unanswered questions, feeling vulnerable and fearful of movement.

As my belief in the Pilates method grew so did my interest. After a 30 year career as an Optometrist I trained as a Body Control Pilates Teacher.

A natural career progression was to further my knowledge by becoming a Body Control Pilates Back4Good Practitioner.

The Body Control Pilates Back4Good Course is endorsed by BackCare, the UK's national charity for healthy backs, and was approved by three leading experts as meeting the best practice in this sector.

I am delighted to offer 1:1 consultations and small group 'Healthy Back Classes'.  Get in touch to discover how a prescribed Pilates exercise programme can help you to manage your back pain and improve your physical and mental well-being.
